We spend a lot of time searching for great products for the MacGregor 26M and X.

Many times we come up with an idea and find the product is already available and we simply purchase it on a wholesale basis. Other times we come up with an idea and start making phone calls to find a manufacturer.

Sometimes these products do very well. Our teak and holly flooring kit is an example. We developed the product and then teamed up with IdaSailor Marine to produce it for us. The same goes for our stern rail seats and all of our canvas products.

Our newest addition to our custom product line has been incredibly successful since it's introduction a few short months ago. We teamed up with Doyle Sails and we have developed a custom made Cradle Cover and Lazy Jack system for the 26M and X.

Read on......

Raising, lowering and reefing your mainsail has now become a breeze with Doyle's new Cradle Cover with Lazy Jacks.

Simply unzip the cradle cover, attach the halyard and and the mainsail raises effortlessly.

Finished for the day? Release the halyard and the main automatically flakes into the Cradle Cover via the Lazy Jacks. Simply zip it and you are done!

Reefing your sail has never been easier as excess sail cloth below the reef point is contained in the cover. The Lazy Jacks flake the main into the cradle cover right to the reef point. The ease and simplicity of the Cradle Cover places it in a class by itself.

Research the cost on purchasing a new mainsail cover and independent lazy jack system. You will findthe Doyle integrated system is a bargain. Plus it has been designed and built specifically for the MacGregor 26M and X.

The Cradle Cover is available in all of our standard Sunbrella colors.

Pictures of the system are available on our Canvas Shop page.

Announcing The Musclehead!

Posted by Kelly-Hanson Marine on November 9, 2008 at 6:08 PM Comments comments (0)

We are pleased to announce the design of our new C3000 mainsail for the MacGregor 26M has been completed and production is now in full swing.

We call this monster the "Musclehead" and for good reason. The sail has been designed to take full advantage of the M's taller mast, swept back spreaders and elimination of the backstay.

There is absolutely nothing like it on the market and you will not believe the performance improvement over a traditionally shaped main.

Here's the details:

5.46 Oz. Dimension-Polyant Dacron

Alloy Headboard

Fat Head Technology

Maximum Roach

Three Full Battens

Two Mid-Length Battens

Two Reef Points

Draft/Shape Stripes (Not Pictured)

Slugs on Luff

Bolt Rope Foot

Tell Tales

Leechline with Camcleat

MacGregor Insignia

Corner Reinforcement Patches

Triple Step Zig-Zag Stitching

Sail Ties

Custom Sail Bag

Three-Year Limited Warranty

We think the C3000 Musclehead is the most exciting piece of new hardware for the Mac since the boat was first introduced. We challenge any loft to develop a sail with this feature set, warranty and sell it anywhere near our price point. It simply isn't going to happen.

There's even more exciting news! We have developed four new C3000 headsails to match the main. They include draft/shape stripes, heavier dacron, UV protection and a host of other standard features. There's two 100% working jibs....one with hanks and the other for roller furling systems. And there are two 150% genoas with the same hardware choices that are absolutely awesome looking.

To round out the C3000 line we have developed a brand new cruising spinnaker. One that will boggle the imagination. Take a look at the MacGregor Factory web site. There is a larger spinnaker many of you have seen. It is attached to the deck by means of a removeable bow sprit. Well, we have developed an assymetrical spinnaker around the same size and it doesn't require the sprit.

We are pretty proud of this new line of performance cruising sails for the 26M. They are incredibly well-built and will last for years with proper care.

There Ain't A Better Time To Buy! Check This Out!

We are one of the largest MacGregor dealers in the country and have delivered 26M's throughout North America. Some of the reasons we are so popular is due to the fact we offer the best price on a new boat, great customer service and have custom options no other dealer can provide.

When a customer purchases a new boat, they either pick it up here in Colorado or have it delivered to their doorstep. We own our own trucks and trailers so we have always been able to offer some very competitive shipping rates.

Let's face it. There has been a lot of depressing economic news over the past month or so. Has it impacted sales? Not really. We are actually selling more Macs than we did a year ago. But we know times are a little different for some and we want to make it as easy as possible to purchase a new 26M in 2008.

First. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that gas has gotten real expensive. We are going to turn that around by offering delivery for just $0.50 per mile. Yep. Thats fifty cents a mile! Plus the first 200 miles are on the house.

Second. With all the craziness with the economy today, there is also some good news. Interest rates are down. We have developed an exclusive financing program that is simply amazing. You can finance a loaded Mac with a minimum down payment of $1,000.00 and get a great rate and terms to boot. How great? How about a monthly payment well under $300.00 for a loaded Mac?

Both of these are limited time offers. The shipping discount is available on new boats purchases or orders between February 11, 2008 and May 1, 2008. Rates and terms on the financing program are subject to change at any time.
